Perhaps this explains what I've been doing for the past month since I last posted...it's been way too long since I gave my blog some attention. Hope to remedy that, starting now.
Yes, I'm officially retired - as of July 1st. For the first week, I felt like I was only on vacation. I'm gradually getting accustomed to this new lifestyle. The ability to slow down is the most noticeable advantage I've realized. I can change my plans at the last minute to do something different, and then go back to the original plan later...or not! :)
I've been doing quite a bit of reading - when I'm not trying to catch up in the garden...and I find I'm wanting to re-read books I've previously enjoyed. I'm keeping a list in the sidebar. And I've been listening to the Mariner games on the radio - a favorite summertime sound!

I love the Fair - I think I'd go every day, if I could afford it! (The fairgrounds are only a few blocks away, so walking distance!)
