Garden Pix

First ripening tomato! (Heirloom Bloody Butcher variety)


But others are starting to show some 'color'...


No tassels on the popcorn yet, but it's taller than I am...well, some of it is. But then, I'm only 5-2, so that's not saying much. :)


A bean report: there are actually 4 rows of beans planted here.
l-r: old package of yellow wax beans, new package of cannellini beans, new package of black beans, and the last (& best) a row of mixed seeds sent to me by Kathie of Two Frog Creek. (If it's not obvious, the last ones are doing the best!)

It all looks so wonderful! I've never had any luck with popcorn, or any corn for that matter. I didn't think our seasons were all that different.... I'm jealous!
