Corn on the left, garlic on the right

l-r: weeds (LOL), chard, beets (too close together), carrots, kohlrabi (too close together), more weeds (in path), last of spinach, leaf lettuce, peas

Tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes!
May God bless you with discomfort
at easy answers, half-truths,
and superficial relationships
so that you may live deep
within your heart.
May God bless you with anger
at injustice, oppression,
and exploitation of people,
so that you may work for justice,
freedom, and peace.
May God bless you with tears
to shed for those who suffer pain,
rejection, hunger, and war,
so that you may reach out your
hand to comfort them and
to turn their pain into joy.
And may God bless you with
enough foolishness
to believe that you can make
a difference in the world,
so that you can do what others
claim cannot be done
to bring justice and kindness to
all our children and the poor.
Amen

Your garden is looking awesome. Really coming along. Mine has had a slow start but finally gaining some ground. I think I need to thin my beets too.
Your garden looks fantastic! I love the color contrast between the silver green kohlrabi leaves and the bright green carrot tops. What types of tomatoes are you growing?
Wow! It looks fabulous! Look at all of them go! Beet greens are really yummy if you want to pull a few early and thin them out. Mmmmmm.
Thanks, Kelli - I'd love to see some photos of your garden.
Sarah - well, after visiting your site & seeing your garden, I'm thinking that mine looks a "little' messy & weedy. Your flowers are gorgeous, too! Thanks for visiting my blog.
Melinda - Thanks. I actually did have some beet greens mixed in w/some scrambled eggs on the weekend - yummy!
