I dug up all of the potatoes earlier this week - we're supposed to get rain, then cooler weather, and the plants were mostly dead, so I thought I should get the 'taters out of the ground now. As you can see, there are more red potatoes than Yukon Gold, but more BIG Yukon Gold so maybe it evened out. I took all the real little ones out & cooked them for supper - YUM!
And I forgot to post photos of my garlic, harvested in late July, then cured for a few weeks. Second photo taken in mid-late August.

And in just a couple weeks, I'll be planting some of those for next year!

Lovely harvest. You're on about the same timeframe as I am.
What a great harvest...congratulations!! :)
Thanks, you guys - doesn't look like a whole lot compared to some harvests I've seen on my favorite blogs - but it should be enough for me for most of the winter.
Beautiful garlic!! Wow. And loads of lovely potatoes - do you have a root cellar?
No, Melinda, unfortunately I do not. But I was able to keep last year's crop through the whole winter in my garage, so that's where everything is staying again - 'cept for the garlic.
But, it's basically just the 2 kinds of potatoes, some carrots, & the slowly ripening tomatoes - not as much as I had hoped... (sigh)
