I'm feeling a little bit better about my emergency preparations these days - I now have a back-up heat source. After much online investigation, I decided to go with the Mr. Heater product, when I received my tax refund. I lucked out when I investigated the Lowe's local store online - their heaters were 50% off! So, for what I would have paid for the heater itself, I also got a 4-ft hose connection to use with a larger propane tank (never in the house, though!), a 2-pk propane cylinders, (not shown, they're in the garage) and a CO detector. So, just as soon as I get motivated, I will get it working - out in the garage, first - so that I know how to use it if/when the need arises!

Wow! I haven't heard of that kind of heater, but it sounds great! Congratulations on your alternate heat source--looking forward to hearing how well it works!
